Book Club - “Washington Black” by Esi Edugyan

The novel, published in 2018, is the third novel by Canadian author Esi Edugyan. The story follows the early life of George Washington "Wash" Black, through his spiritual and psychological growth, chronicling his escape from slavery and his subsequent adventures.
