Advent Bible Study - Part 2 (day)

You’re invited to participate in the next in our series of 2-part Scripture Studies that have been leading us to consider how we can live with Scripture to make it real in our lives today.

Topic: Prophecy

Dates: Tuesdays – Decmeber 11 and 18, 2018

Times: 1:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. (Two alternatives are offered, so that participants can attend based on their schedules and preferences.)

Location: Upper Room, Strathearn United Church

Framework: The Three Worlds

1. The context/world of the Scripture writer

2. The world and circumstances that shaped the text

3. Today’s world and our individual experiences

Part 1 – Tuesday, December 11th

Rev. Sandy will provide participants with historical/contextual information concerning the first two worlds

Part 2 – Tuesday, December 18th

Having reflected on the information provided, participants will return to question/challenge/discuss the text as it may apply to our world and our lives
